Share Stories. Plant Trees.

Join us in the Million Trees Project. We're assembling the largest collection of stories of the trees we love to connect and inspire tree planters as we aim to plant 1 million new trees in communities every spring and fall planting season.

Tell us about a tree you love

Trees do so much for us. They cool our sidewalks, help us breathe easier, and they put us into context, holding our memories for generations. Snap a photo of you or a loved one with your favorite tree and add your story to inspire future tree planters.

The Million Trees Project

Over the last 50+ years, we’ve received thousands of stories from people who love trees. They capture a moment in time. Changing leaves in the fall. A new home. The first day of school. While it feels like trees grow slowly, these nostalgic images remind us how quickly time passes and the impact of a tree over time.

We started the Million Trees Project to plant trees in communities while connecting tree planters through stories that inspire action. Add your story and help us plant today.
