Enterprise Rent-A-Car

To honor its 50th anniversary, Enterprise Rent-A-Car formed a partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 50 million trees over 50 years through the Foundation’s reforestation program and the Lost Pines Tree Recovery Campaign. This is a gift that not only commemorates its history, but celebrates the future.

BJ’s Wholesale Club

BJ’s Wholesale Club, in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, has made a commitment to plant 1 million trees by the year 2020 in our nation’s forests and communities recovering from natural disasters. Cabela’s Outdoor Fund logo Cabela’s Outdoor Fund

Cabela’s Outdoor Fund (COF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to efforts that promote and protect hunting, shooting sports, trapping, fishing, camping and conservation. This fund is possible through donations from generous Cabela’s customers who choose to “round up” their purchases to the nearest dollar at Cabela’s stores. The Cabela’s Outdoor Fund contributes to other like-minded organizations in communities across the country working to make the great outdoors even better.


Conservation has always been an important part of what Disney is as a company. Disney’s environmental legacy spans more than 60 years and began with Walt himself. As an element of its commitment, Disney is supporting the Arbor Day Foundation’s Nature Explore program and our efforts in Replanting Our National Forests with national broadcast airtime for public service announcements to educate people on the importance of connecting children with nature and restoring wildfire-ravaged areas of our nation’s forests. Leesa, a progressive online luxury mattress company, is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 1 million trees over the next 10 years. This commitment is part of their One-Earth program, which aims to make a positive contribution to the environment and is part of the company’s overall social impact strategy.

FedEx logo FedEx

As part of their EarthSmart program, FedEx has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to help replant fire ravaged areas of Texas. Through their Enchanted Forest Facebook application and in-store retail campaign, FedEx has committed to replanting 100,000 trees in Texas destroyed by the 2011 wildfires.

Mary Kay logo Mary Kay

As part of their Pink Doing Green campaign, Mary Kay, Inc. has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to support the Lost Pines Tree Recovery Campaign and to provide life-changing programs to children affected by domestic violence. In addition to planting 500,000 trees through 2017, Mary Kay has funded the construction of seven Nature Explore Outdoor Classrooms in domestic violence centers across the country for a total of 20 classrooms built to-date.

Since 2008, the Arbor Day Foundation and NBCUniversal have partnered together during the iconic Rockefeller Tree Lighting to help raise awareness about the importance of planting trees. Each December, millions of viewers are educated on the need to replant our national and state forests during the live broadcast and through social media campaigns. This promotion also includes an interactive activity, with NBCUniversal planting a tree for every individual who participates.

CSX Transportation logo CSX Transportation

In 2009, CSX set out to plant one tree for every mile of its track in the United States. They reached their goal of 21,000 trees and are now working with Arbor Day Foundation to plant another 21,000 for a total of 42,000 trees by 2018, an initiative they refer to as “The Trequel.”

TD Green Streets logo TD

TD Green Streets supports innovative practices in community forestry. Through this grant program, municipalities are eligible to receive one of ten $20,000 grants in support of local forestry projects in low- to moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods.

The Arbor Day Foundation has once again received a grant from the UPS Foundation to plant trees in our nation’s forests and to support urban reforestation through Tree-Based Energy Conservation programs. Visit their site to learn more.

Warranty Solutions logo Warranty Solutions

Warranty Solutions, an AmTrust company, introduced EcoMind in 2009 as a way for new car and truck buyers to cover component parts that help the vehicle burn fuel most effectively and reduce emission output. For each vehicle service contract sold by a dealer, they plant 25 trees through their partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. They have planted 1.4 million trees to date.

For its timeshare properties, Wyndham Vacation Ownership purchases Arbor Day Foundation shade-grown Peruvian coffee, which is grown on farms certified by Rain Forest Alliance. Over the next two years, Wyndham will be purchasing more than 600,000 pounds of shade-grown Peruvian for its timeshare properties. Wyndham has also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation in promoting tree planting by their guests and employees through memberships to the Arbor Day Foundation.

Our friends at Wyndham Vacation Ownership oversaw the entire project and introduced us to many of their vendors, who were excited to get involved with the project.

Classic Painting & Decorating, Inc. has been exceeding customer expectations for over 30 years. The company specializes in large multi-unit exterior and interior repaints, such as condominium associations, retirement homes, and hotels. Lied Lodge & Conference Center received a fresh coat of paint courtesy of this hard-working team.


Ferguson is a diverse wholesale distributor with operations spanning multiple business groups. The company has a tradition of supporting civic, cultural, educational, and environmental activities. We’re honored that they supported our renewal efforts by supplying shower and tub surrounds.

The organization provided paint and stain used throughout the renewal project.

New Mexico’s leader in innovative design and quality product use in the flooring industry, Stone and Tile Works helps contractors, designers, architects, and even weekend remodeling warriors bring elegance and luxury to any home, outdoor, kitchen, or bathroom project. The high-quality tile the company provided during the lodge renovation can be found throughout the building.

Stonebrook Roofing Inc. is a local, Lincoln, Nebraska-based roofing industry leader, servicing both commercial companies and residential homeowners. Its team is grounded in leadership, continuous and on-going improvement, and company values. The lodge has a new roof thanks to their efforts.

Surface Art

Surface Art has made a commitment to the environment that goes far beyond recycling. The company takes a bottom-up approach to tile that affects not only internal company policies but also those of vendors, including materials recycling, energy consumption, and waste mitigation. Because of its environmental focus, Surface Art was willing to supply tile for our renewal.
