To honor its 50th anniversary, Enterprise Rent-A-Car formed a partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 50 million trees over 50 years through the Foundation’s reforestation program and the Lost Pines Tree Recovery Campaign. Leesa, a progressive online luxury mattress company, is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 1 million trees over the next 10 years. This commitment is part of their One-Earth program, which aims to make a positive contribution to the environment and is part of the company’s overall social impact strategy.

As part of their Pink Doing Green program, Mary Kay, Inc. has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant nearly 1 million trees and build 20 Nature Explore Classrooms at domestic violence centers across the country.

TD Green Streets logo TD Bank

TD Green Streets supports innovative practices in community forestry. Through this grant program, municipalities are eligible to receive one of ten $20,000 grants in support of local forestry projects in low- to moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods.

At Verizon, we’re committed to making positive impacts in the communities we serve. As part of this commitment we have partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees in forests and communities around the globe. Verizon has pledged to plant 2 million trees between 2009 and 2030. We have also pledged to support Arbor Day’s mission to help Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico re-establish trees lost and damaged during the 2017 hurricanes; we will sponsor the planting of 250,000 trees over the next five years in support of this cause.

Church & Dwight Church & Dwight

In partnership with Church & Dwight, the Arbor Day Foundation is working with public and private partners to conserve critical wetland resources in the Mississippi River Valley. This project improves water quality, creates a flood control buffer, and restores wildlife habitat, while helping the company reach their carbon reduction goals.

CSX Transportation logo CSX

In 2009, CSX set out to plant one tree for every mile of its track in the United States. They reached their goal of 21,000 trees and are now working with Arbor Day Foundation to plant another 21,000 for a total of 42,000 trees by 2018, an initiative they refer to as “The Trequel.”

In March 2017, the Deutsche Post DHL Group announced its goal to reduce all logistics-related emissions to zero by the year 2050. This goal is supported by four milestones to be achieved by 2025, one of those four is to train and certify 80% of DHL colleagues as GoGreen specialists by 2025, and actively involve them in the company’s environmental & climate protection activities, this includes the commitment set of planting 1 Million trees a year until 2025.

Since 2008, the Arbor Day Foundation and NBCUniversal have partnered together during the iconic Rockefeller Tree Lighting to help raise awareness about the importance of planting trees. Each December, millions of viewers are educated on the need to replant our national and state forests during the live broadcast and through social media campaigns. This promotion also includes an interactive activity, with NBCUniversal planting a tree for every individual who participates.

Texas Roadhouse has made a five-year commitment to the Arbor Day Foundation’s hurricane recovery efforts in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Their support will help to restore valuable community trees and bring hope and healing back to residents.

Warranty Solutions, a premier full service provider, introduced EcoMind in 2009 as a way for new and used car and truck buyers to cover component parts that help the vehicle burn fuel more effectively and reduce emission output. For each vehicle service contract sold by a dealer, they plant trees in areas of need across the U.S. through their partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. They have planted nearly 2 million trees to date.

For its timeshare properties, Wyndham Vacation Ownership purchases Arbor Day Coffee, which is grown in harmony with the rain forest. Wyndham preserves close to 28 million square feet of rain forest each year by serving Arbor Day Coffee in both their offices and properties. Wyndham has also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation in planting over 1 million trees by engaging their guests and employees.
