BJ’s Charitable Foundation BJ’s Wholesale Club

BJ’s Wholesale Club, in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, has made a commitment to plant 1 million trees by the year 2020 in our nation’s forests and communities recovering from natural disasters. Bota Box Bota Box5 Year Partner

Bota Box wines has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation since 2009 to plant trees in our nation’s forests. In addition to donating a portion of sales during the month of April, they donate $1 to plant 1 tree through the Foundation’s Lost Pines Tree Recovery Campaign on behalf of every new Facebook fan. Deere & Company is the exclusive lawn care and general maintenance equipment provider for Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Through an equipment lending program started in 2000, Deere & Company provides tractors and general maintenance vehicles used to beautify and increase the productivity of the 260-acre property, which is visited by thousands of visitors, families, students and conference attendees each year. Committed to environmental responsibility, John Deere was awarded the Arbor Day Foundation’s Promise to the Earth Award in 2003.

Dominion, one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of energy, developed the "Project Plant It!" curriculum to educate children about the value of trees and improving the environment. The program includes resources and activities to help students understand the important role trees play in our environment. Through Project Plant It!, Dominion has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to provide 3rd grade students participating in the program with trees to plant at home. Each year, over 30,000 children receive these trees, with 2014 marking the 250,000th tree distributed through the program. Also, as a result of their continued advocacy for the importance of tree education, Dominion received the Arbor Day Foundation's 2012 Public Awareness of Trees Award.


As part of their EarthSmart program, FedEx has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to help replant fire ravaged areas of Texas. Through their Enchanted Forest Facebook application and in-store retail campaign, FedEx has committed to replanting 100,000 trees in Texas destroyed by the 2011 wildfires.

Furniture Row Furniture Row

Since 2000, The Specialty Stores at Furniture Row (a Promise to the Earth Award recipient), have partnered with The Arbor Day Foundation to plant 290,000 trees in our nation’s forests. Additional support has been made to the Lied Lodge & Conference Center since 2003. Beautiful furniture throughout the lodge and comfortable mattresses in the guest rooms have been supplied the Specialty Stores at Furniture Row.

Mary Kay5 Year Partner

As part of their Pink Doing Green campaign, Mary Kay, Inc. has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to support the Lost Pines Tree Recovery Campaign and to provide life changing programs to children affected by domestic violence. In addition to planting 500,000 trees through 2017, Mary Kay has funded the construction of seven Nature Explore Outdoor Classrooms in domestic violence centers across the country for a total of 20 classrooms built to date.

In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation Nelnet will help to plant a minimum of 75,000 trees in our nation’s forests over the next three years on behalf of every customer that chooses electronic statements.

Physician’s Mutual Physician’s Mutual10 year partner

Physicians Mutual has been a long-standing partner of the Arbor Day Foundation, planting trees on behalf of customers as part of the Trees in Memory and Trees in Celebration programs to support reforestation efforts in our nation’s forests and through the Lost Pines Tree Recovery Campaign.


The Praxair Global Giving Program is supporting Arbor Day Foundation’s replanting efforts in the U.S. and China. On behalf of Praxair’s Greenway Project, trees will be planted in forests and communities across the U.S. affected by wildfires and natural disasters. Additionally, trees will be planted in China to help alleviate poverty and reduce soil erosion.

For over ten years Toyota has been a supporter of many educational programs that the Foundation has to offer. Most recently, Toyota has helped the Arbor Day Foundation to launch a new program - Tree Campus USA - to introduce our mission to a new audience.


The Arbor Day Foundation has once again received a grant from the UPS Foundation to plant trees in our nation’s forests and to support urban reforestation through Tree Based Energy Conservation programs.

Warranty Solutions

Warranty Solutions, a member of the Wells Fargo family of companies, began their partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation in 2009. Warranty Solutions plants 25 trees for each customer who purchases an EcoMind® product option. The company has helped to plant more than 325,000 trees in forests across the country to date.


For its timeshare properties, Wyndham Vacation Ownership purchases Arbor Day blend shade-grown Peruvian coffee which is grown on farms certified by Rain Forest Alliance.

Over the next two years, Wyndham Vacation Ownership will be purchasing for its timeshare properties more than 600,000 pounds of shade-grown Peruvian coffee grown on farms certified by Rain Forest Alliance. Wyndham has also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation in promoting tree planting by their guests and employees through memberships to the Arbor Day Foundation.

Bimbo Bakeries USA

Bimbo Bakeries USA will be planting 25,000 trees on behalf of Entenmann’s Little Bites snacks as part of their 2015 eco-initiatives. Through a special Entenmann’s® Little Bites Facebook Sweepstakes in March and April, a tree will be planted in a U.S. forest of greatest need for every entry received, up to 25,000 trees.

Fairmount Santrol

Fairmount Santrol is supporting the Arbor Day Foundation and the planting of trees in our nation’s forests on behalf of their sustainability programs.

High Fashion Home

In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, High Fashion Home is honoring their customers by planting a tree in our nation’s forests for every purchase made online.

Hunter Douglas

Hunter Douglas is teaming up with the Arbor Day Foundation for a third year to plant trees in our nation’s forest and preserve rain forest land.

The Shade Store

In 2011, The Shade Store committed to planting a tree in one of our nation’s forests to honor every customer who places an order. Over 60,000 trees have been planted so far.

In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, Whole Foods Market helped replant evergreen trees in our nation’s forests on behalf of customers’ purchases during the 2014 holiday season.

Classic Painting & Decorating, Inc.

Classic Painting & Decorating, Inc. has been exceeding customer expectations for over 30 years. They specialize in large multi-unit exterior and interior repaints, such as condominium associations, retirement homes and hotels. The lodge and conference center received a fresh coat of paint courtesy of their hard-working team.


Ferguson is a diverse wholesale distributor with operations spanning multiple business groups. The company has a tradition of supporting civic, cultural, educational and environmental activities. We’re honored that they supported our renewal efforts by supplying shower and tub surrounds.


Mastercorp, Inc. is an industry leader in resort housekeeping and provides turn-key housekeeping services to more than a hundred resorts. Their “Show You CARE” culture permeates the entire organization and drives their determination to provide excellent service. The organization provided paint and stain used throughout the renewal project.

New Mexico's leader in innovative design and quality product use in the flooring industry, Stone and Tile Works helps contractors, designers, architects, and even weekend remodeling warriors bring elegance and luxury to any home, outdoor, kitchen or bathroom project. The high-quality tile they provided during the lodge renovation can be found throughout the building.

Stonebrook Roofing Inc. is a local, Lincoln, Nebraska-based roofing industry leader, servicing both commercial companies and residential homeowners. Their team is grounded in leadership, continuous and on-going improvement, and their company values. The lodge has a new roof thanks to their efforts.

Surface Art

Surface Art has made a commitment to the environment that goes far beyond recycling. They take a bottom-up approach to tile that affects not only internal company policies but also those of vendors, including materials recycling, energy consumption, and waste mitigation. Because of their environmental focus, Surface Art was willing to supply tile for our renewal.
