Plant a Tree with GM and the Arbor Day Foundation

Beautiful Michigan Forest

GM, working with the Arbor Day Foundation, will fund a tree donation on your behalf. Along with its partners, the Arbor Day Foundation will reforest 371 acres in the Duck Lake Fire area in the Lake Superior State Forest.

The Duck Lake Fire was started by a lightning strike on May 21, 2012. Over three days, it quickly spread and consumed more than 21,000 acres of largely Jack Pine forest. These new plantings will provide cover and habitats for deer, moose, sandhill cranes, and the Federally endangered Kirtland's warbler.
