LINCOLN, Nebraska (May 15, 2025) – An award-winning chef joins Timbers Restaurant in Nebraska City and introduces all-new breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The new selections from Chef Garrett Kasper reflect a strong emphasis on utilizing sustainable ingredients and reducing food waste.
“This is real, thoughtful food. Our team isn’t just checking off steps on a recipe. We work with a respect for the ingredients, the process, and the customers. We want to make delicious food, but we also want to give our guests a meaningful experience that inspires connection and conversation,” said Chef Garrett Kasper, executive chef of Timbers Restaurant.
The menus boast bold, approachable dishes that push the boundaries of traditional flavors. Timbers restaurant is introducing new, locally-sourced ingredients like Nebraska wagyu beef and Iowa Sakura pork. Other highlights include the banh mi sandwich, house-made kettle fries, lasagna, and several dishes that honor seasonal produce.
“When we began exploring options to update the menus at Timbers Restaurant, we wanted to ensure the food would be as incredible as the view. Thanks to Chef Kasper, we’ve been able to craft a dynamic dining experience with flavors that feel familiar while offering a modern twist,” said Brandon Schuster, vice president of Arbor Day Farm. “We’re eager to welcome guests to dine among the trees and dig into this new chapter with us.”
