The Neat Company and the Arbor Day Foundation
Partner to Plant Trees in U.S. Forests

Nebraska City, Neb. (April 26, 2011) – The Neat® Company, developers of user friendly scanning hardware and software solutions, announced today a partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation to help replant our nation's forests.

During the month of April, The Neat Company will make a monetary donation to the Arbor Day Foundation for every free Taming the Paper Monster e-book that is downloaded on Neatco.com. The Arbor Day Foundation will plant one tree in designated forests in the United States for every dollar donated by the company. Additionally, everyone who purchases a NeatDesk® or NeatReceipts® unit during Earth Week will receive a free tree, suitable for planting, from the Arbor Day Foundation.

"We're very excited to work with a company like Neat that recognizes the significance of trees to our environment," said Brian Schenk, corporate partnerships manager at the Arbor Day Foundation.

The Arbor Day Foundation is the nation's largest, nonprofit organization dedicated to planting trees, with more than 1 million members nationwide. Last year, the Foundation planted more than 6 million trees in U.S. forests through its partnerships with the U.S. Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters. The Foundation helps plant trees in forests damaged by wildfire, insects and disease where natural regeneration cannot occur. By cleaning the air and protecting water sources, forests provide Americans with immense health and environmental benefits.

This is the second time that The Neat Company and the Arbor Day Foundation have collaborated during the past few months to plant trees.

"Environmental sustainability is important to Neat's customers and we are delighted to help the Arbor Day Foundation plant, nurture and celebrate trees," said Kevin Garton, chief marketing officer at The Neat Company.
