Water

66 million people in the U.S. rely on a National Forest as their water. Replenishing these forests is key to protecting water resources for present and future generations.

Climate

Forests in the U.S. store more than 227 million tons of carbon per year, which offsets approximately 16 percent of all annual U.S. carbon dioxide. These trees are crucial in the fight against climate change.

Volunteerism

Experiencing nature restores your employees' energy and focus, while improving job performance and satisfaction.

Customer activations & cause marketing

There are many ways to use trees to strengthen the connection between your customers and employees. Free tree distributions and trees planted in celebration or in memory are some of the ways to engage your internal and external audiences.

Deforestation in supply chain

World demand for timber is expected to quadruple by 2050. Reducing deforestation in supply chain processes is a key component, as well as replanting in forests of greatest need to maintain the renewable nature of forests and trees.

Utilities and municipalities

In the contiguous United States, urban trees and forests annually reduce electricity use by 38.8 million megawatt hours ($4.7 billion) and absorb thousands of tons of emissions valued at $3.9 billion per year.
