In our latest edition of the Canopy Report, we’ve identified the specific barriers that prevent people from planting trees and how we can overcome them.

We’ve also moved beyond community canopies and examined the relationship between Americans and our nation's majestic forests.

What is the connection people have with these vast areas, even if they don’t regularly visit them? How do they see their role in the ecosystem? What does it mean for reforestation? Join our webinar on November 10 at 2:00 PM CST to dive deep into the findings and have a candid conversation about how they guide our planting efforts. There will be a live Q&A session afterwards.

What is the Canopy Report?

The Canopy Report was developed in collaboration with survey experts at The Harris Poll. It is the only annual report of its kind to explore people’s perceptions of trees and the role they play in our lives.

In 2026, we surveyed 2,000+ U.S. adults (18+) across the country. By polling people from different backgrounds, experiences, and geographical locations, we gain nationally representative data illustrating how Americans feel about trees and a greener future. This year, we delve deeper into how they see and experience our nation’s forests.
