Holyoke Arbor Day Tree Planting

The City of Holyoke will be teaming up with Eagle Eye Institute and the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation's Greening the Gateway Cities program to plant and celebrate trees. The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Holyoke will perform a song about the importance of trees, the Mayor of Holyoke will speak, and we will plant two trees in Heritage Park, a centrally located resource that is home to the Children's Museum and a historic carousel.

Kalispell, MT Arbor Day 2025

The City of Kalispell in conjunction with the Kalispell Urban Forestry Committee will be hosting the annual Arbor Day Celebration on April 25th at Lawrence Park. 350 3rd graders from school district #5 are planning to attend a full day of activities at the park. Environmental professionals in the community will host stations for students to move through, learning about trees and the environment. Volunteers will assist in planting approximately 35 trees throughout the community and each student will receive a seedling to plant.

Join the City of Duncanville and the Keep Duncanville Beautiful Board for the annual Texas Arbor Day Tree Celebration and Giveaway! This family-friendly event celebrates the importance of trees in our community and offers residents the opportunity to enhance their surroundings.

Event Highlights:

Tree Planting Ceremony: Participate in the dedication and planting of a new tree in Armstrong Park, symbolizing our commitment to a greener future.

Free Tree Saplings: Attendees can receive up to two free tree saplings per household (while supplies last) to plant at home, contributing to the city's urban canopy.

Educational Workshops: Learn from experts about proper tree planting techniques, care, and maintenance to ensure your new trees thrive.

Informational Booths: Visit booths hosted by local environmental organizations and city departments to discover more about sustainability initiatives and resources available in Duncanville.

Children's Activities: Engage the younger attendees with fun, educational activities focused on the environment and the role of trees in our ecosystem.

This event is free and open to all ages. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or new to tree care, there's something for everyone. Let's come together to celebrate Texas Arbor Day and make Duncanville even more beautiful!

LA Arbor Day 2025

The City of Los Angeles hosts an annual celebration and tree-planting event in honor of National and California Arbor Day. Arbor Day is a day of climate and community action, celebrating trees and the critical environmental and public health services they provide in Los Angeles.
● Angelenos, volunteers, nonprofit partners, and city departments will come together to plant a total of 140 street trees and 18 park trees in the Central Alameda Neighborhood. Local volunteers and LA residents will plant 140 street trees within 1/2 mile radius of the park of Ross Snyder Park on the day of the event.
● “BeLeaf in Equity” IRA Grant through LA Sanitation and Environment
○ Arbor Day 2025 will have 40 street trees total, 100 City Plants match trees, 68 from IRA Grant from the Forest Service with concrete cuts, and watering for all trees for up to 5 years.
● 200 free shade and fruit trees will be distributed to Angelenos to take home and plant on private property via the City Plants program.
