Arbor Day Tree Planting Celebration!

Mayor Chris Ivers will read an Arbor Day Proclamation; two Tulip Poplars will be planted in the Village, one in the Village Park, and one in Highland Park. The community, including SUNY Geneseo college students, are invited to join in the planting. The Geneseo Garden Club will plant around the trees and hand out seed packets to all in attendance.

Arbor Day Tree Planting Event

We will be planting 100 white oak saplings in the Village of DeForest park land near Rivers Turn Park and along the Yahara River. We will meet at Rivers Turn Park and walk about 1/4 mile to our destination, where we will show you how to plant the sapplings and you can plant as many as you want. This event is free for anyone to join.
