Making an Impact

Select one of our projects — located in the U.S. and around the globe — to learn more about how using trees to help meet your sustainability goals can do so much more than offset your carbon.

Every year, Peru loses more than 500,000 acres of rain forest to deforestation. It’s time to put a stop to the devastation. Your carbon offsets can help nearly 400 families protect their rain forest lands and maintain their traditional, sustainable Brazil nut operations.

Forests in Zambia are disappearing rapidly. Through this project, your carbon offset dollars will help to educate communities on agroforestry practices that protect and enhance the rain forest — in an area where the deforestation rate is 11 times higher than the Zambian national average.

Mississippi River Valley

This area is one of the most important critical wetland resources in North America. However, massive reduction in forestland has led to a myriad of ecological issues, including an increasing dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico. You can help restore this bottomland hardwood ecosystem through carbon credits.

The tropical rain forests of Borneo are home to hundreds of at-risk species, including one of the last remaining wild populations of endangered Bornean orangutans. Here, carbon credits protect endangered species, provide access to clean water and health services, and contribute to the local economy.
