Conference COVID-19
and Cancellation Policies
The Arbor Day Foundation is committed to the safety and well-being of all conference attendees. To promote a safe environment at the Partners in Community Forestry Conference and any other associated events being held from November 15-19, 2021, we have decided to set forth certain guidelines for in-person attendees to minimize the potential of spreading or contracting the COVID-19 virus.
This year all in-person attendees are required to present either proof of full vaccination (two weeks since your final dose) or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of first attendance at the conference. A photo ID matching the vaccination or negative test record is required upon registration check-in. In addition, we strongly encourage attendees to:
- Wear a mask or face covering at all times during the indoor sessions of the conference, and when using public transportation
- Consider wearing a mask or face covering in crowded outdoor settings
- Practice physical distancing
- Conduct self-wellness checks
- Use hand sanitizer stations
- Cover coughs and sneezes and wash your hands frequently
These guidelines are subject to change in accordance with changes in all applicable public health laws, regulations, rules and directives in Jefferson County, Kentucky and the City of Louisville caused by fluctuations in COVID-19 infection rates in the area. Changes in these guidelines will be posted to the conference webpage at https://www.arborday.org/programs/pcf/.
The conference will have a virtual option. If you have registered to attend the conference in-person and are unable to attend, the Arbor Day Foundation will provide you with access to the virtual conference option and refund the difference in cost. If you are seeking a refund for the tuition cost of the conference, a request must be made by November 1st. No refunds for tuition costs will be processed for cancellation after the forgoing date. No travel or lodging related costs will be refunded regardless of when cancellation is made.
