  1. Individuals

    1. Purchase Plants: We are looking for individuals to test new selections of hazelnut seedlings and take data throughout the year. Purchase Plants and send research results.
    2. Locating Wild Hazelnuts: We are looking for individuals that want to locate and gather wild varieties of hazelnuts to add to our germplasm collection. Locate wild American hazelnuts.
    3. Donate: Donations will directly help fund the Consortium’s effort.
    4. Volunteer: We are looking for individuals will to volunteer at the Arbor Day Foundation, University of Nebraska—Lincoln, Rutgers University, or Oregon State University. Please contact us for more information.
  2. Farmers

    1. The Consortium will eventually be looking for farmers throughout the country that would plant small scale hazelnut fields consisting of our newest potential releases for pre-commercial testing. Get your name on the list.
  3. Universities

    1. In the near future, the Hybrid Hazelnut Consortium will be looking for additional universities willing to contribute land, research efforts, and graduate assistants to participate in our replicated trails and pre-commercialization trial, as well as mechanization trials.
    2. Please contact us with other hazelnut interests, hazelnut opportunities or ideas involving bio-energy, food products or germplasm evaluation, and collection efforts.
