Atlanta Beltline Arboretum Excellence in Partnership Award
The Atlanta Beltline Arboretum is part of an urban renewal project conceived and organized by the Atlanta community, for the Atlanta community. This sustainable plan is among the largest, most wide-ranging urban development programs currently underway in the United States. The Beltline connects 45 neighborhoods together through trails and green space. What was once unused space is now an unprecedented 22-mile arboretum filled with thousands of plants and trees, echoing Atlanta’s name as the “City of Trees.”
