Ducks Unlimited Forest Lands Leadership Award
Ducks Unlimited supporters have raised nearly 3.5 billion dollars toward conservation since 1937 and conserved more than 13 million acres of public waterfowl habitat throughout North America. With the help of First Nations and nongovernment agencies, Ducks Unlimited is saving the world’s biggest, natural carbon sink and largest reservoir of surface water, making sure that precious habitat and forestland in Canada and Alaska live for years to come. Ducks Unlimited set a goal to protect or sustain at least 200 million acres of Boreal Forest land in a four year initiative.
