The Arbor Day Foundation is a leading collaborator in the World Economic Forum’s Trillion Trees Initiative (1t.org). This platform has ambitious goals for forest management and restoration around the globe, including the planting of one trillion trees by 2030. Tree planting has been the core focus of the Foundation since our founding 48 years ago, and we will continue our dedication to being a positive catalyst for change. Our support and work with 1t.org will be a component of the Arbor Day Foundation’s Time for Trees’ goals of 100 million trees planted, and 5 million tree planters by 2022. For information about 1t.org and our engagement in the initiative, please read more here.
