Former New England Patriot Kicks Off Latest Stop of Traveling Tree Exhibit in the Heart of Boston
Nebraska City, Neb. (April 2, 2009) – Here's a new and enchanting way for children to spend Easter weekend while making connections with the natural world at springtime. Arbor Day Farm's Tree Adventure Easter Egg-citement is a spring celebration that sparks the imagination of children as they seek and discover nature.
Tree Adventure Easter Egg-citement includes an egg and nature hunt, and allows children to hold baby chicks, bunnies and lambs, and encounter plenty of fun along the trail. The event is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 11-12 at Arbor Day Farm. Admission is $6.50 for adults, $4.50 for children 4-12, and free for children 3 and under.
On Easter Sunday, enjoy a special Brunch at Arbor Day Farm's Lied Lodge & Conference Center. The brunch includes prime rib of Nebraska beef, apple wood smoked turkey, grilled swordfish steaks, four-cheese stuffed ravioli, smoked pit ham, garden vegetable quiche, smoked bacon and sausage, fresh baked breads, appetizers and desserts. Easter brunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., and the cost is $29.95 for adults, $14.95 for children 4-11, and free for children 3 and under. Make reservations by calling (402) 873-8740.
