Small Group Sessions

We’ll break out into optional smaller groups on Tuesday and Wednesday so you can experience all the farm has to offer.

Behind-the-scenes at Arbor Lodge Mansion

Take a guided tour of the home of the founder of Arbor Day. Our deeply knowledgeable guides will walk you through the mansion and servants’ quarters, telling stories of the people who worked and lived there. Attendees will enjoy exclusive access to areas not open to the public, including the private bowling alley, and take home a souvenir gift.

Cider and charcuterie

Arbor Day Farm is known for its delicious apples and hard ciders. Our executive chef and sommelier will guide you through the unique characteristics of our ciders and lead a class on crafting the perfect charcuterie board.

Historic orchard tour

Enjoy a tour through Arbor Day Farm’s 25-acre production orchard while learning about how we grow and care for our apples. We’ll talk about the Farm’s history and the sustainability practices of today. You’ll learn the art and science behind grafting, rootstock selection, high density growing systems, hard cider varieties, and much more.

Living landscape exploration

The landscape of Arbor Day Farm was built on the interconnectedness of humans and nature. Along with guest speakers from the Lilac Society, you’ll explore the vast and intentional landscaping of the Farm, including a look at the relationship between trees, shrubs, flowering plants, and grasses.
