Search Plugins

All modern web browsers support the ability to add your favorite search engines into the search bar of the browser. By adding arborday.org's search engine directly into your browser, you can search our site or tree store without having to come to arborday.org first.

Just follow the instructions for your browser below.

Firefox 2 and Above

  1. Click the drop-down menu on the search bar in the upper-right corner of the browser.
  2. Click “Add ‘arborday.org.’”

Alternatively:

  1. Add the arborday.org search plugin by clicking here.
  2. Confirm this by clicking the “Add” button.

Internet Explorer 7

  1. Click the drop-down menu on the search bar in the upper-right corner of the browser.
  2. Expand the “Add Search Providers” menu.
  3. Select “arborday.org.”
  4. Click “Add Provider.”

Alternatively:

  1. Add the arborday.org search plugin by clicking here.
  2. Confirm this by clicking the “Add Provider” button.

Opera 9 and Above

  1. Right-click the search field on arborday.org (above).
  2. Select “Create search” from the context menu.
  3. Change the name to whatever you like (We recommend something short and descriptive, like “arborday.org”).
  4. Add a short keyword to be able to use the search engine directly from the address field, like “ad”.
  5. Click “OK”, and our search is added and can be used anywhere within Opera.

Safari

There is currently no supported method for adding our search into Safari.
