At the Arbor Day Foundation, we are committed to creating change through tree planting and environmental stewardship. We’re also committed to providing a positive work environment where team members can grow personally and professionally.
Find Your Place Among the Trees
Don’t worry, we’re not looking for tree experts. We’re looking for people with a passion to serve, a desire to be part of something bigger than themselves, and a drive to make the world a better place.
So whether you’re looking for a full-time or part-time role, in an office setting or within the world of hospitality, we may have just what you’re looking for.
The Arbor Day Foundation’s headquarters are located in the heart of the capital city. Our Lincoln Campus is focused on organizing global tree planting efforts, managing relationships with corporate partners, and cultivating a deeper connection with Foundation members across the country and around the world. To make this happen, we need team members from all business categories — human resources, accounting, marketing, IT, sales, logistics, operations, and more.
Nestled in Nebraska City, Nebraska, is Arbor Day Farm and Lied Lodge & Conference Center — where our mission truly comes to life. Here our purpose is to create genuine, impactful experiences through our story by providing service excellence for visitors to the Arbor Day Farm Tree Adventure and guests at Lied Lodge & Conference Center. Front desk staff, banquet servers, housekeeping, tour guides, line cooks, meeting planners, and many more all work in harmony to ensure an inspiring experience for all.
The first thing I noticed when I came to work at the Foundation was the culture. The work environment is truly unique here. The second thing I noticed is how much I love talking about the work we do here. Coming from the for-profit sector, working for an organization with a focus on the greater good has been a welcomed change.Dan Morrow, Corporate Partnership Manager
We stand for a cause bigger than ourselves. What we do each day affects the future, and we are giving back to the planet in a significant way. The Foundation lets me contribute in ways I could not do on my own.Susan Freshman, Tree Adventure
The work we do makes the world better. Better for coffee farm families in South America. Better for furry and feathery forest critters. Better for inner-city children. Better for people living in Tree City USA communities. What’s NOT to love?Carrie Benes, Graphic Design
I absolutely love what the Arbor Day Foundation stands for, and the people who work here are just incredible. I feel so blessed. I can honestly say that I love coming to work here.DeeDee Kennedy, Executive Housekeeper
