10-City Nationwide Tree Planting Campaign

Our Second Year of Tree Planting Events
Sponsored by The Home Depot Foundation

The Home Depot Foundation and the Arbor Day Foundation are partnering together to plant 1,000 trees in 10 cities across the country.

These tree-planting events are part of a nationwide 10-city campaign led by The Home Depot Foundation and the Arbor Day Foundation to increase awareness of the importance of city trees as green infrastructure in our cities and to create healthier communities in urban areas.

About The Arbor Day Foundation

Founded in 1972, The Arbor Day Foundation is a non-profit organization established to inspire people to plant, nurture and celebrate trees. With nearly a million members, the Foundation distributes and plants nearly 10 million trees through its membership and through reforestation efforts in America’s National Forests.

The Foundation works to impact community forests through educational seminars and conferences, collaboration with local tree-planting organizations, and the Tree City USA program, which includes nearly 3,100 designated Tree Cities. The Arbor Day Foundation is leading the initiative to connect children with nature through educational programs like the annual National Poster Contest and through their Nature Explore program.
