Many of the beautiful trees throughout Alabama were damaged and destroyed by the April 2011 tornadoes. To help with the restoration, the Alabama Forestry Commission and The Arbor Day Foundation launched the Alabama Tree Recovery Campaign to assist in the region’s tree recovery efforts.

Through the Alabama Tree Recovery Campaign, people across America are answering the call to help replant trees and restore natural beauty to the afflicted area.
