Meet Our Replanting Partners

The Forest Service determines forests and areas where the need is most critical.

The Arbor Day Foundation began working with the U.S. Forest Service in the wake of the Yellowstone area fires in 1988. Since 1990, more than 28 million Arbor Day Foundation trees have been planted through this enduring partnership with the U.S. Forest Service.

Since then, we have also built partnerships with numerous reliable and unique tree planting partners that have helped plan and carry out the planting of millions of trees throughout the world.

Our affiliations span the globe. Examples of these collaborations include the National Association of State Foresters, National Association of State Park Directors, Wildlife Management Areas, The Nature Conservancy, National Wild Turkey Federation, County Forests, Appalachian Regional Restoration Initiative, Trees for Cities, Tree Canada, and Woodland Trust — to name just a few.

It is our priority to connect with high-impact organizations seeking to help the environment and their communities. Our combined strengths bring positive results and provide opportunity to vastly improve ecosystems that would otherwise not recover on their own. We welcome new partners that want to change lives by planting trees.
