Bulletin #58: Community Engagement

The eight pages of a Tree City USA Bulletin are inadequate to allow inclusion of the many great examples of community engagement already taking place throughout America. You will find many more examples highlighted in the every-other-month issues of Arbor Day Newsletter and on other pages of this website that feature winners of Arbor Day Foundation’s annual awards. Here are some other sources of information about community engagement that you may find helpful.

This well-illustrated, 74-page publication includes many examples of collaboration and successful community forestry programs and projects from around the country. It is available through the Arbor Day Foundation and copies were distributed to each state urban & community forestry coordinator.
