About Trees for SuccessThe Trees for Success campaign was created to help increase the awareness of the many benefits that trees bring to our environment. This program is a partnership between the Arbor Day Foundation and The Home Depot Foundation. During 2008 more than 800 large trees were planted on school grounds or in city parks in fifteen cities across the country. These fifteen sites were selected from more than 200 applications received from schools and cities that were in need for trees. From barren playgrounds to treeless parks, these fifteen sites were instantly transformed to tree filled areas with the help of school children and The Home Depot employees. Nominate your school now to be part of the 2009 Trees for Success campaign. |
