The Keebler Company, Elmhurst, Illinois, recipient of a Promise to the Earth Award. The award is given in recognition of sustained commitment and national leadership on the part of a corporation that joins with the Arbor Day Foundation on special projects. The Keebler Company is being recognized for its sponsorship of the Foundation's Arbor Day National Poster Contest, which reaches one million fifth-graders every year. Last year students from more than 39,000 classrooms in 42 states and the District of Columbia participated in the contest.
