Nebraska City, NE – When the bard’s best known comedy about fickle love and forest fairies arrives in video stores for rental on Tuesday, November 23, audiences will see more than the lush tree magic directed by Michael Hoffman. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has placed a new public service announcement (PSA) for The National Arbor Day Foundation on the video to help put trees in the hands of the film’s audience.

“This is a great continuation of theatrical promotions coordinated with Fox/Searchlight Pictures,” says Arbor Day Foundation President John Rosenow. “Fox celebrated the premiere of the movie with tree plantings around the country. Now the video audience will be invited to receive 10 free trees when they join the Foundation, thanks to Fox Home Entertainment.”

The new public service spot features forest scenes from the movie and encourages everyone to join the Arbor Day Foundation and plant tree magic in their communities. The piece promotes planting trees to celebrate a wedding, a new addition to a family, a good report card, and other significant events. People joining the Foundation in response to the PSA will receive 10 free trees, sent to them at the right time to plant in their community.

The National Arbor Day Foundation is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to tree planting and environmental stewardship.
