Nebraska City, Neb. (April 26, 2011) – Just in time for National Arbor Day, one of Greenzys most popular plush toys is available at Build-A-Bear Workshop locations throughout the world and the company is planting trees through the Arbor Day Foundation to mark this expansion.
Starting April 20, one of Greenzys most beloved characters, Yew Yew the Panda, will be introduced and featured as the eco-friendly plush option in Build-A-Bear Workshops in the United States, Canada, England, Germany, Japan and Mexico. For each Yew Yew the Panda plush purchased at Build-A-Bear locations, Greenzys will make a donation to plant a tree in one of our nation's forests in honor of the customer through its partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation.
In addition, children and their parents who purchase a Yew Yew the Panda are encouraged to visit the Build-A-Bear (www.buildabear.com/greenzys) or Greenzys (www.greenzys.com) websites to receive a personalized digital certificate acknowledging their planted tree contribution.
National Arbor Day is celebrated on the last Friday in April, which falls on April 29 this year.
