Nebraska City, Neb. (July 10, 2008) – Celebrate the hot days of summer at Arbor Day Farm’s Caliente Festival on Saturday, July 19.

Visitors to Arbor Day Farm will be able to listen to live salsa music at the Tree Adventure attraction, enjoy foods from Latin America, and learn how to make salsa and sangria.

Nick Maloney, executive chef at the Timber Dining Room at Lied Lodge & Conference Center, will demonstrate how to make salsa using Arbor Day Farm fresh-grown produce from 1 p.m. until 3. Sangria demonstrations will take place at the Apple House throughout the day using Arbor Day farm win and farm-grown produce.

Fresh, pick-your-own produce will also be available.

“The Caliente Festival is a perfect way for the entire family to enjoy nature and celebrate summertime,” said Bev Nolte, Director of the Tree Adventure attraction at Arbor Day Farm. “This is a perfect occasion for those looking to get away for a day of fun, affordable activities.”
