Arbor Day Farm Features Nature-Inspired Easter Weekend

Nebraska City, Neb. (March 6, 2007) – Experience the beauty of Arbor Day Farm, and enjoy the natural surroundings throughout Easter weekend, March 22 and 23. There’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

Start off the weekend at the Tree Adventure attraction with a nature-inspired Easter egg hunt. This spring celebration includes a seek-and-discover nature hunt and egg hunt along the trails, and features live bunnies and chicks. On Easter Sunday, start off the day with a sunrise service on the Hazelnut Lawn at Lied Lodge & Conference Center. The service begins at 6:30 a.m., and will be held inside Lied Lodge in case of inclement weather.

Following the service, enjoy an unforgettable Easter Brunch at Lied Lodge. The brunch includes carved roasted turkey and Nebraska prime rib, pan seared red trout amandine, glazed smoked pit ham, a breakfast bar and assorted sweets. Easter Brunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., and the cost is $29.95 for adults, $12.95 for children 4-11, and free for children 3 and under. Make reservations by calling (402) 873-8740.

Lied Lodge & Conference Center is also offering an inclusive package which includes an overnight stay on March 22 for two adults and two children, admission for four at the Tree Adventure attraction, and Easter Brunch.
