Nebraska City, Neb. (April 5, 2012) – While apples blooms may have come and gone early this year, Arbor Day Farm still offers a variety of activities to enjoy this Easter weekend.

At the Tree Adventure, visitors can take a springtime stroll for a leisurely seek-and-find egg hunt, and children can pet and hold chicks and bunnies along the way. Tree Adventure is open on Easter Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Easter Sunday from 11am to 5pm, and activities are offered under regular admission.

Visitors can also board the Discovery Ride, scheduled to depart from Tree Adventure on Saturday at noon, 1pm and 2pm; and Sunday at 2pm only.

For the culinary-inclined, Lied Lodge & Conference Center at Arbor Day Farm is offering a special Easter Sunday brunch between 11am and 3pm. The brunch buffet includes Nebraska roast prime rib, a roasted leg of lamb, California gulf shrimp scampi, artisan cheeses, a selection of spring berries and fruit and traditional breakfast fare. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (402) 873-8740.

On Friday and Saturday, 5pm to 7pm, Lied Lodge & Conference Center is also offering tastings of the red, white and fruit wines of Arbor Day Farm, with wine experts available for questions. The tasting will be hosted in the Lied Lodge lobby.

Arbor Day Farm is located in Nebraska City, Nebraska. More information on hours, admission and directions can be found at arbordayfarm.org/visit.
