Nebraska City, Neb. (April 4, 2011) – Everyone can illuminate the world and help the environment by planting trees during the month of April through Ablaze Candles' new partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation.

Ablaze Candles will donate 20 percent of the proceeds of all candles sold in April to the Arbor Day Foundation when customers use the code word "TREE" when they purchase candles at www.ablazecandles.com.

Ablaze Candles has more than 200 hand-crafted decorated luminaries with unique designs, from contemporary to classic. Ablaze Candles glow like marble, are washable and last a lifetime. They can be used as serving vessels, vases, candy dishes or ice buckets. They can also be floated in water for a truly captivating look. Each Ablaze Candle comes with a crystal votive holder and votive candle that rest on a clear, protective disc embedded inside the bottom of the candle. When you light Ablaze Candles, the entire wax sculpture glows brilliantly.

"The Arbor Day Foundation plays a critical role in helping to maintain the earth's ecosystems, while keeping our world beautiful and natural animal habitats healthy," said Babak Motamedi, principal of Ablaze Candles. "We are proud and honored to be able to partner with the Arbor Day Foundation during Earth month to do our part to help the environment. We believe wholeheartedly in supporting our community, in our own backyard, and beyond."

The Arbor Day Foundation will work with the U.S. Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters to plant trees in our nation's forests that have been damaged by wildfire, insects or disease with the proceeds from Ablaze Candles. The Foundation is the nation's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to planting trees, planting and distributing 14 million trees in 2010.
