Chaco Teams Up with the Arbor Day Foundation To Plant Trees in Forests Throughout the United States

Chaco will work with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant up to 50,000 trees, one for each pair of Chaco footwear sold during the month of April through its "Buy One Get One Tree" promotion. Through its promotion, Chaco is hoping to highlight that April is a great time for planting trees and celebrating conservation efforts.
In addition, Chaco will also offer retailers the ability to match its donation to the Arbor Day Foundation, which could lead to more trees being added to our nation's forests.
"We appreciate Chaco's commitment to help restore our nation's forests through this tree-planting promotion," said Kevin Sander, director of corporate partnerships with the Arbor Day Foundation. "Trees provide so many excellent benefits, such as helping to clean our drinking water and air, providing habitat for wildlife and helping to protect our waterways and soil. Chaco's commitment to planting trees will have a positive impact on the environment for years and years to come."
The Arbor Day Foundation has worked with the U.S. Forest Service since 1990 to plant trees in U.S. National Forests. Since then, the Foundation and its members and partners have planted more than 19 million trees in forests nationwide.
