Teach With Tree-Based Educational Activities

Teacher Doing Activities With Students

For nearly 20 years, we helped tens of thousands of fifth graders all over the United States learn about trees.

Through the Arbor Day Poster Contest, teachers from Clyde Hill, Washington to Yarmouth, Maine and everywhere in between added tree-based activities to their curriculums. Students discovered the energy benefits that trees provide. They learned about urban forests. They learned how trees grow.

Our National Poster Contest was discontinued in 2010.

Please download and use these activity guides to help the children in your life learn about trees. Whether you're a teacher with 25 children or a parent teaching one child, you have an important job to do. Help instill our children with a love of nature, and you'll help ensure that our children's children will still be caring for our trees.
