Trees are Terrific… in Cities and Towns!

Thank you to the over 65,000 fifth grade classrooms who participated in the 2009 Arbor Day National Poster Contest!

These fifth grade students and teachers took the time to learn about trees and environmental stewardship with the Arbor Day National Poster Contest. The 2009 theme, "Trees are Terrific…in Cities and Towns!" was designed to increase students' understanding of the importance of trees in a community.
