Nature Explore Classroom at Gifford Farm Education Center, ESU #3

New and improved! During the annual Fall Festival in August 2012, approximately 700 visitors enjoyed the unveiling of a completely rebuilt Nature Explore Classroom at Gifford Farm Education Center.

The previous Nature Explore Classroom site was destroyed in the summer of 2011 due to flooding on the Missouri River.

The new Nature Explore Classroom measures approximately one acre and again, contains all areas needed for certification. These areas are identified by signs and are easily accessible to all, including handicapped visitors. Plants, flowers and brightly colored fabrics make this space very inviting. Materials from the farm and adjacent woods have been used in the construction of this beautiful space.
