Nature Explore Classroom at Sunset Vista Community Garden and Learning Center, Inc.

Sunset Vista Community Garden and Learning Center, Inc. continues to provide field trips for schools throughout the year while hosting ongoing nature-oriented workshops.

This Nature Explore Classroom continues to grow with efforts this year focusing on expanding the nature identification trail and building a labyrinth.

Children from Washington School, W. Caldwell, spent a Helping Hands Day at Sunset Vista on May 6. The children engaged in outdoor activities that taught them many valuable lessons of farming, gardening, and composting. Children, parents, and teachers join together to donate their time and make a difference at the farm throughout the year.

From the lessons shared at Sunset Vista, the hope is that all visitors learn to appreciate and care for our environment.
