The Nature Explore Classroom at Rainbows United, Inc.

Rainbows United, Inc. is celebrating their 2nd year as a certified Nature Explore Classroom.
The Kids Cove classroom is now being used by 6-21 year old special needs population, due to changes in the agency.
An Eagle Scout candidate is providing a shade structure for the building area. This new shade structure will be built of wood and have native vines growing along side.
The outdoor classroom was so popular with families that a parent offered to donate the supplies and labor to add a six foot cedar fence.
The group currently using the location has a choir that performs around the city in the summer. This past summer, they held a number of concerts in the outdoor classroom on the Music and Movement stage. This helped introduce families and community partners to the classroom.
Kids Cove was also a feature site for the KACCRRA “Let’s go outside” symposium. This enabled over 50 community members to enjoy the classroom as well.
