The City of Conyers celebrated Arbor Day by planting a tree at Bonnor Park, which is a local park that is located between two schools. Students from C J Hicks Elementary and Rockdale County High School assisted Mayor Randal Mills in the planting.

Mayor Mills also read an official proclamation and the GA Forestry presented the Mayor with the City of Conyers' 11th Tree City USA flag. We enjoyed refreshments, the Forestry Commission gave a presentation on the importance of trees to the students and Smokey the Bear gave out pencils and coloring books to the students. It was a wonderful day!
