This is a large conical golden yellow apple with an occasional rose blush and crisp, aromatic, white flesh with a sweet flavor. Best known as an eating apple, but also excellent for pies, sauce and preserves. They have a long storage time--up to 3-6 months if refrigerated. Harvested late in the season, mid-September to mid-October. Standard Yellow Delicious will begin to bear in 6-10 years, the semi-dwarf in 4-6 and the dwarf in 3-4.
